An exciting integrated netball program to develop all aspects of a netball player’s game; physical, technical, tactical, emotional and psychological. Based on my program designed for the University of Kent, this unique offering helps young players understand the game and be masters of their minds.

Program details:

There are three elements to this new integrated netball program:

Physical – Netball fitness; ball management, movements and technical skills, with a special focus on space awareness.

Game Understanding – Tactical game analysis and skill placement using International and England Netball Super-league footage.

Psychological – Nurture your innate confidence and resilience; play freely, and naturally without the need to prove yourself. Learn to make, mistakes your best friends!

This revolutionary new approach to sports coaching inspires and guides young netball players to access their natural abilities for their chosen sport without the hindrance of limiting beliefs and confidence issues that can creep in and spoil their enjoyment, creativity and results.

1. Understand the mind-performance link– unlock your psychological freedom, be your own coach!

2. Uncover the misunderstanding that causes lack of confidence and under-achievement.

3. Explore what’s possible through your physical body and mind, without the need to prove yourself.


  • Using International netball video footage; explore styles of play, set pieces, and develop positional understanding.

  • Physically hone your game skills, ball management, movements, attacking, defending and shooting skills.

  • Through performance analysis, enhance decision making, explore solutions to solve problems on the court.

  • Improve your netball fitness; improve speed, strength and perceptual field to win spaces and be first to the ball.


  • When situations don’t go the way you want them, recover quickly from low moods, access your resilience to respond well.

  • Handle selections, feedback and mistakes with greater clarity and confidence.

  • Make sense of stress, and worry that sabotage your enjoyment and results in sport and school life.

  • Avoid blaming others or circumstances for the way you feel, be able to take ownership for your own psychology.

  • Three days (10-3pm) in groups of 4 players
  • Program includes a book for the players and complimentary resources for parents
  • In person sessions are held in West Malling, Kent
  • Year 4, 5, 6 or 7
  • Player must attend all three days

Cancellation Policy - Players can book future programs if they cannot attend the program due to illness or injury. It would help if you tried to find a replacement to ensure the group remains functional for 2 v 2 activities.

Denise Holland reserves the right to increase the group size to five if other weeks are not fully booked and do not, therefore, go ahead.

Parents are key influencers in an athletes development; your clarity and peace of mind are fundamental to effective and enjoyable parenting.  Included in the package, therefore, you have complimentary access to Denise Holland's "Inspired Living" resource dropbox folder. Before I came on the course I was nervous with my shot and couldn't get free often; then I learned different techniques of how to get free, shoot and also how to move the ball down the court faster.
